Colleen Owens - President
Born and raised in Delaware, I grew up in Wilmington and moved to Smyrna in 2003.
I am the proud mom of twin daughters, Ariel and Bethany, and fur-babies (dogs) Peanut and Roofus. Ariel and Bethany are entering the 4th grade this year. When the girls started at PCA as first graders, I found that volunteering at various PTO events was fun and a great way to meet other parents. I look forward to a fun filled year.

Joseph Lightcap - Teacher Representative (Upper School)
I am a 2013 graduate of Wesley College, where I received my Bachelors of Science in Physical Education K-12. I found a passion for working with children through coaching and playing sports on the high school and collegiate level, which led me to my studies in education in college. This is my 4th year at PCA and I’m excited to continue my efforts in teaching your children healthy components and physical wellness concepts, as well as being able to move into teaching strength and conditioning as an elective. In my free time, I enjoy traveling the country playing competitive men’s slow pitch softball, spending time with my loving family, and coaching football at Middletown High School.
